The ear: an essential but fragile organ of the body

Our ears play an important role on a daily basis. They allow us to hear, capture surrounding sounds and communicate with people around us. They can be considered as an interface with the outside world.

A sensitive and fragile organ, they must be preserved.

In order to function properly, ears naturally secrete a substance referred to as earwax. Yellow to brown in colour and oily in texture, earwax lubricates the ear canal and protects our ears against bacteria. Generally speaking, the amount of earwax is regulated and naturally evacuated by the movements of the jaws during mastication.
